for upcoming ceramic courses *
Welcome to Ceramic Atelier Oost,
a bright and quiet studio in Amsterdam where I host ceramic courses, day workshops, private events and open atelier days. Perfect for beginners who want to explore the craft, or those who want to work on their own ceramic project(s): all levels are welcome.
The handbuilding courses are given in small groups (max 7) to ensure personal one-on-one instructions. Every class (18:00) starts with warm soup and bread, to ground a bit. During the course you will explore different sculpting and glazing techniques.
When you have participated in a five-week course you can attend open atelier days when you wish to. During open atelier you can proceed you ceramic work independently, of course I will still be there for questions and guidance.

*Please note that the glazing dates for ‘ceramic introduction’ and ‘ceramic weekend’ will be picked in accordance with the group when the workshop has started (depending on drying duration).
*All workshops are non-refundable. Make sure you are available on the given dates when you sign up. If you cannot fully attend the workshop due to circumstances we can discuss what is a right alternative.
